Jessika Lopez is a Senior Program Associate for the Racial Wealth Divide Initiative (RWDI) of CFED. Jessika manages communication efforts for the RWDI, supports both the development and fulfillment of CFED’s Racial Equity Goals across programs and supports the Director of the RWDI.
Jessika has over six years of non-profit experience primarily working in economic development in both the San Francisco Bay Area and Pittsburgh, PA. Most recently, as an MSW intern, Jessika was able to contribute to local neighborhood redevelopment efforts in the distressed Pittsburgh neighborhoods of East Liberty and Greater Hill District. Her work in East Liberty involved helping to prepare Section 8 project-based residents affected by the Housing and Urban Development’s $30 million Choice Neighborhoods grant. While working in the Greater Hill District, Jessika was able to contribute to the planning and launch of the Hill District 100 Homeownership program and the BLAST Small Business Development course for Hill District residents.
Jessika received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University and her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh.
