Two years ago, CFED brought the Assets Learning Conference to Washington to take advantage of the unique opportunity to educate Members of Congress about America’s Assets Agenda. Building on that success, the ALC is returning to our nation’s capital so Conference participants can join together to bring the Assets Movement to the steps of Capitol Hill!

Capitol Hill Visits are your opportunity to share with lawmakers the importance of asset-building policies and how asset-building programs across the country are transforming the lives of Americans. Legislators are more effective in creating the Save & Invest Economy when they hear from their constituents about local-asset building efforts. Furthermore, Hill Visits are the perfect time to try your hand as a lobbyist; Conference attendees who sign up for Hill Visits get the rare opportunity to speak one-on-one with their Congresspeople and ensure that their voices are being heard.

To sign up for a Capitol Hill Visit, indicate your interest when you register for the Conference. This summer, a member of the CFED Policy Team will contact you to make sure you’re still interested and you’ll receive a confirmation message that will include your legislators’ names, meeting times and location. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity!
