The Innovation Marketplace will be ‘open for business’ during the 2010 Assets Learning Conference, The Assets Movement at its Moment: Creating the Save & Invest Economy, September 22-24 in Washington, DC.  As the site of networking and social activities, the Marketplace will feature Innovators-in-Residence, Innovative Idea Champions, Next Generation Innovators and International Innovators presenting their creative approaches to addressing the challenges facing low- and moderate-income families. It will also feature the Entrepreneurship Fair, a lively and colorful conclave of Innovative Entrepreneurs demonstrating and selling planet-friendly products and services and whose businesses reflect the vigor and potential of the assets & opportunity field.

The virtual Innovation Marketplace, coming soon, is the one-stop spot for connecting with Innovators and Entrepreneurs before and after the Assets Learning Conference. Information about the ideas featured and portals to contact innovators will be accessible through the virtual marketplace to foster idea exchange, networking and collaboration. Before the conference, members of the Innovation Marketplace community can learn about featured approaches in advance and contact presenters and entrepreneurs for information about their ideas. After the conference, the virtual Innovation Marketplace will be best way to keep the conversation about these ideas going, ensuring the most promising innovations are brought to scale.
