CFED Announces Levi Strauss Foundation Platinum Sponsorship Of Assets Learning Conference

Grant will support the upcoming national 2008 Assets Learning Conference in Washington, DC

Washington, D.C. - The Corporation for Enterprise Development (CFED) announced that the Levi Strauss Foundation will be a Platinum Sponsor of the 2008 Assets Learning Conference. The 2008 Assets Learning Conference titled, ADVANCING AMERICA'S ASSETS AGENDA is expected to draw 1,200 attendees on September 11 - 13, 2008 to the Hyatt Regency Crystal City just outside Washington, DC.

Levi Strauss Foundation is awarding CFED a grant totaling $250,000 supporting a number of exciting events on the first day of the Conference as well as asset policy work on the state and federal levels.

"We are thrilled to count the Levi Strauss Foundation as a Platinum Sponsor of the Conference," said Andrea Levere, CFED President. "Levi Strauss Foundation was an early and important supporter of the assets movement and is generously supporting exciting events on the Conference's opening day."

The Foundation will specifically sponsor the Conference's Lobbying 101: Hill Visit Preparation session, the Opening Plenary, transportation and logistics for Capitol Hill Visits, the Capitol Hill reception, and a number of registration stipends.
