CSA Program Models

CSA Program Models

CFED has established and supported several major CSA initiatives, leading to the creation of savings accounts for thousands of low-income, minority and first generation college-going children and youth. In the last three years, widespread and significant new opportunities to deliver CSAs at scale have captured the interest and commitment of leaders at the federal, state and local levels, as well as the private sector, who are laying the groundwork to transform this field from innovative pilot projects into a nationally recognized and scaled strategy.

We have listed a number of these “breakthrough” programs, organized by program model. However, these descriptions are not intended to be entirely comprehensive of every current or emerging child savings initiative underway.
